Position Summary

The Marketing Generalist will be responsible for developing, executing, monitoring and tracking (in conjunction with the project team) integrated marketing strategies and plans for our internal and external clients.

This position includes performing market research and designing traditional and modern marketing campaigns to increase market share, engage and retain customers, promote projects, initiatives and brands and ensure brand consistency.

Core Responsibilities Include

Marketing Campaigns: Design and Execution

  • Marketing Strategy: Designing, developing and implementing research-based marketing strategies and campaigns that are aligned with business targets to increase web traffic and traditional print and media campaigns to drive eyeballs and engagement,
  • Social Media: Managing the design of internal and external social media strategy and execution:  calendar planning, content development, posting and measurement,
  • Advertising: Planning and executing paid advertising campaigns, including PPC (Google Adwords) and social-specific paid ad campaigns (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.),
  • SEO: Developing and implementing strategies to improve website search rankings; increase the quantity and quality of internal and external client organic web traffic through search engines such as Google, Bing or Yahoo.
  • Acquisition: Working closely with business development, client services and solution design to support our client acquisition efforts, overall program strategy, implementation and management.

Marketing Campaigns:  Goal Setting and Measurement

  • Setting specific marketing goals for each program/project,
  • Consistent review and analysis of marketing metrics (in collaboration with client services and marketing team members) in order to leverage market awareness and utilization to strategically direct and make recommendations for ongoing engagement,
  • Providing end of campaign/program measurements and ROI.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2-4 years experience in a similar role with responsibilities for promotion, social media and paid digital advertising campaigns.
  • Experience and comfort with content strategy and development
  • Hands on working knowledge of all social media outlets including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
