Gold Group Enterprises, Inc. (GOLD) is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Statement of Privacy applies to the GOLD services, including the GOLD text messaging platform and the GOLD enterprise platforms (collectively, the “Services”) that governs data collection and usage. By using the GOLD Services, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information

We only use your information for its intended purposes. By participating, you give GOLD permission to provide your contact information to the GOLD customer organization with which you are associated. GOLD may use information collected through its services and website for research and development purposes. However, such usage will not include any personally identifiable information in such research or analysis. Personal information collected is stored in our secure database and we reserve the right to divulge information as necessary to comply with any state and federal laws.

Personal Information

If you send a text message and/or e-mail to us, we will collect your mobile number and/or e-mail address and the full content of your message, including any attached files, or other information you provide. We may use that information to send you appropriate informational content. You may indicate your preference to stop receiving communications (See Your Choices Regarding Your Personal Information).

GOLD collects personally identifiable information, such as your name, e-mail address, and other information that you may provide.

Information about your computer hardware and software is automatically collected by GOLD if you go to a GOLD website. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by GOLD for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the GOLD Services.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through GOLD public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. GOLD does not read any of your private online communications.

GOLD encourages you to review the privacy statements of Web sites you choose to link to from GOLD so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. GOLD is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the GOLD Services and GOLD family of Web sites.

Use of your Personal Information

In general, Personal Information and other information you submit or share with us is used for the following purposes: to enable your access to our services; to personalize the content you receive from us; and to offer you additional information and functionality from us or from our customer at your request.

GOLD collects and uses your personal information to operate the GOLD Services and deliver the services you have requested. GOLD also uses your personally identifiable information to notify you of system outages, platform upgrades, best practices and other products or services available from GOLD and its affiliates. GOLD may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

GOLD does not sell, rent or lease its subscriber lists to third parties. GOLD may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to GOLD, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

GOLD does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

GOLD keeps track of the Services, Web sites and pages our users visit within GOLD Services, in order to monitor Services. This data is used to see how users are using our Services and assist with any issues our users may have.

GOLD Services will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Gold Mobile or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of GOLD; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of GOLD, or the public.

Use of Cookies

The Gold Group Services use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. When you return to the same Gold Group Web site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Gold Group features that you customized.

GOLD secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
